Welcome:

Welcome to the Anime Review section where I review all the manga volumes/anime I read and watch. As you can tell I'm a Shojo fan but not all of these are all shojo. There's just more (Hehe). I have a lot to review so these aren't all the ones I have read or watched so more will be added later on!

A great shojo manga about love at first site and a sweet forbidden romance between a high school girl and her not-blood related Uncle, who is still very young btw. At the beginning of this manga I thought things happened too fast especially the kiss because like, hey, they're both strangers! Well I guess that's what you call those never gonna happen in real life love at first site. Darn them two. Well anyway, the manga is short with three volumes but a great manga if you like this kind of stuff like me.

This is probably one of the few rare shojo mangas that I have read that involves a guy as a main character which in Aishiteruze Baby, is a player. Kippei Katakura was a player who thought he could get any girl he wanted especially Kokoro who doesn't want anything to do with him because he carelessly fools around with other girls. Kippei suddenly gets a surprise one day when he finds out he must bare the responsibility to take care of his little cousin Yuzuyu whose mother left her behind. As Kippei takes care of Yuzuyu everyday he finally realizes how important girls feelings are and also family. This manga was a really sweet slice-of-life manga and just makes you want to cuddle with little Yuzuyu too.

I barely ever read this type of manga since I find them extremely uninteresting but I picked this up at the bookstore and found myself reading it. The main character Zen I must say is really attractive (haha) but has a very kinda flat , extremely dark personality. Pretty much what he wants to do is kill kill kill, find out who he was in his forgotten past years, and will fight those who get in his way. I have no idea why it is categorized as a shojo manga since there's like NO romance what so ever unless it's because of that blind girl who found him attractive. The manga is only two volumes which is very disappointing since more things could've happened but oh well.

Ever fall in love with a foreigner? Yes, no? Ever fall in love with your ENGLISH conversation TEACHER? Well Arisu does, although she doesn't really want to admit it. Arisu HATED foreigners because when she was a little girl her first love was a foreigner who told her he hated her. Thinking she would never like another foreigner again her mother forces her to take English Conversational Classes so she can go to New York and stay with her dad. She then meets her foreign teacher Ish who she had encountered before at the 100 yen store. Fate has brought them together and although she hates him at first and he is "nothing more than her teacher" feelings develop between the both of them. The story is quite funny and sweet and I highly recommend it.

Shin was a college girl whose body and face resembled a middle schooler and whose dream was to become a doctor. One day she meets Abe Sensei, a former doctor who becomes her neighbor and who will help pursue her dream. Not only does she learn how to become a doctor she also learns about Abe Sensei and discovers her feelings for him. This story is a great one shot with a sweet ending.

Men...is what Hatsumi's problem is right now especially that damn Ryoki! Living is an apartment complex ruled by a selfish woman and a son who is a bully can be a living hell. One day Hatsumi's sister thinks she might be pregnant and asks her to go out a buy her a pregnancy test. Hatsumi goes to buy her one in disguise but thinking she's almost safe she bumps into Ryoki, the guy who used to bully her when they were young. He finds the pregnancy test and Hatsumi asks him not to tell anyone especially his mother and agrees...if she becomes his "slave" Later more drama occurs when Azusa the guy she is in love with comes back to Tokyo with a whole different side to him and finding out that her "brother" Shinogu may not be her brother and has feelings for her! Oh the drama! Telling the truth I REALLY hated Ryoki and did not see how Hatsumi could fall in love with him. He was a jerk, a big-shot, and rich snob BLEEPER! This manga clearly has the most drama of any manga I have read and is pretty uh...dirty in some parts. o_o Anyway, I couldn't stand her decisions for she left the guy I wanted her to be with (Shinogu) and just made me angry. Well you decide which you guy you want if you read this but just as a warning the girl is pretty stupid. :P

When they were young, Kenji had made a promise to Tamako when she was 4 years old that he would marry her is she grew up to be a crybaby no more. Tamako agrees and that promise has stuck with her for the rest of her life. Unfortunatly, Kenji has forgotten all about that promise and Tamako is determined to win his heart by giving up her tomboyish ways and become a famous T.V. star like her mother. Will he finally see Tamako as something else besides a "flat-chested monkey girl?" Filled with LOADS of comedy and CUTE romance I highly recommend this sweet 4 volume manga.
